The terminal-style chat on this site is a personality-driven conversational agent running on Cloudflare Workers at the edge, with retrieval over my own corpus of pre-written responses. Prediction and prefetching while you type give effectively zero perceived latency on input -- the same discipline as my Soul Machines latency work, running live while you read about it. Graceful failure handling and the conversational voice are deliberate design choices, not defaults. Status: live -- you're talking to it.
